On the Road Again

Mary Jane is taking to the road every afternoon.  While she's supposed to be riding in the musical car (seen on your right), she prefers pushing it.  But late in the day as she tires, she either collects leaves or just pulls it along.

The rabbits have no say on this matter yet although Cherry Bugg does wish to have a taxi service on order.

Where's the Paella?

Prince Phillip was sniffing all over the back yard this evening looking for some good eats. As you can see in this picture, he was twisting his head left and right for something tasty. Sometimes grass, dead leaves, and rose bushes just aren't good enough.

Later in the evening, Ruby Jane accidentally chased him down. When Phillip turned to confront her, she quietly acquiesced. As well she should.

Meanwhile Mister John and Miss Jill tried some gluten-free pizza and were mildly surprised. It actually had good taste. Alas, they forgot to bring him the leftovers. Thump. Root Beer Float always wants some of the leftovers.

Brown Bear Sighting in Southern California!

Yes, we all thought that the bears were extinct in this part of the state. Nothing quite ironic like driving up to Big Bear and seeing nothing but squirrels and maybe the occasional misplaced blue jay. But in our back yard, we caught a brown bear in one of our cages. And in taking a picture of her, she hopped out, growled, thumped (or something like that), and wandered off to eat dead leaves. Maybe berries.

Rumor has it there is also a panda bear lurking in the back yard but there have been no sightings of that. But I will let you know as soon as anything is spotted.

Bunny Debate Set for Next Week

Bunny Election candidates Cherry Bugg and Princess Jane have agreed to meet in three separate debates to discuss the various important election topics. The first debate will set in the master bedroom and will be supervised by Miss Jill. Here they will discuss domestic policy in front of many stuffed animals who are surprisingly still undecided (except for Mama and Papa Bugg who clearly will vote for their daughter). They will both be seated on the bed and answer these questions for at least 30 minutes or until one of them bites the other on the butt.

The second debate will be held outdoor in the patio by the back door. This debate will primarily discuss economic and agricultural issues. Questions about carrots, rose bushes, and dead leaves will surely arise. It is believed that Mister John will supervise this debate and it should last 30 minutes or until one of the rabbits again tries to bite the other on the butt.

The final debate will be held on the living room sofa and this will be more of a town hall debate in front of the other undecided animals: Fred, Frederica, Sharkey, Commute Bunny, and Clifford among others. Again this should last approximately thirty minutes. There is no truth to the rumor that Princess Jane and Cherry Bugg will debate MMA style in a steel cage. They prefer smooth wood floors.
