Mary Jane Walks!

Mary Jane is now fully bipedal... for at least a few steps.  She makes it around the house well enough to surprise Mommy and Daddy.  However walking on the backyard grass is still a challenge.  She refused to chase the bunnies on foot today.  Instead she stood there flexing her toes in the grass and refusing to go anywhere.  That was clearly a sign of weakness that the bunnies can manipulate.

Meanwhile in the house, Mommy and Daddy have both been nearly tackled by the silent linebacker strolling the kitchen.  BAM!  There goes the knee!

Rumor has it that Mary Jane will NOT run in the 5K tomorrow in Long Beach but will rather take the day off to work on other projects like smiling, laughing, and faking coughs.

Where's the Paella?

Prince Phillip was sniffing all over the back yard this evening looking for some good eats. As you can see in this picture, he was twisting his head left and right for something tasty. Sometimes grass, dead leaves, and rose bushes just aren't good enough.

Later in the evening, Ruby Jane accidentally chased him down. When Phillip turned to confront her, she quietly acquiesced. As well she should.

Meanwhile Mister John and Miss Jill tried some gluten-free pizza and were mildly surprised. It actually had good taste. Alas, they forgot to bring him the leftovers. Thump. Root Beer Float always wants some of the leftovers.

Root Beer Float Wonders Where Miss Jill and Mister John Went

Mister John and Miss Jill snuck off to Long Beach to celebrate Miss Jill's birthday this weekend. They left the bunnies behind but they did leave them plenty of hay and carrots. None of the rabbits finished their hay but the carrots were gone quickly.

Upon being let out this afternoon, the Float hopped straight out of her cage and started grazing on the grass. It looked like she had not eaten grass in over a week. Well, a day and a half might as well be a week to a starving rabbit.

Ruby Jane on the other hand kept clapping her hands together and eating mollusks. Or something like that. She swims way too much.
