2020s: The Decade of the Giants and Children

2020s: The Rise of the Giants I thought it was difficult having three children but four bunnies... and two of them Flemish giants? Not enough food in the house! And it's been a while but with the Coronavirus, it's time to reboot the blog. It's time for us to update everyone on nine living creatures at the same house for over a month...

Marshmallow

Marshmallow
He's a smart fella who lives with Cookie Sue and is wise enough to go back into his cage when problems arise (like children).

Rabbit Roll Call

The following are the three rabbits (and a Commute Bunny) who are a part of our lives. Most of them seem to get along with one another but their idiosyncratic ways make our lives so much more difficult. Now if only they could get along and not have elections so often. I tell you, rabbits and parliamentary elections are not a good mix; especially after Mary Jane's and Betsy Jo's arrival.

Ginger Beer

Ginger Beer
Dear Ginger Beer. He loves the girls and Jack so much that he hops around the living room and will let them pet him. He also eats scraps from under the table.

Cookie Sue Bugg

Cookie Sue Bugg
Cookie Sue is the elder statesman of the bunch but she'd never let me tell you that.

Commute Bunny

Commute Bunny
CB is our travel companion who has been to more countries and states than most people in their lifetime. She loves to sing, fears bats, and sleeps on phones. Her favorite singer is Gwen Stefani. She's been with us for over six years and I don't know where would be without her and her singing.

Miss Jill

Miss Jill
She's the one who is infamous for not feeding the bunnies. However, she is an awesome mother of two even though our rabbits deny everything.

Mister John

Mister John
Mister John is the one who tries to keep all the bunny factions happy. He spends most of his time with Miss Jill. They have traveled here, there, and everywhere... and always with their trusty Commute Bunny in his front pocket. I heard he teaches HS English and possibly Academic Decathlon but I'm not so sure about that.

The Guys

The Guys
The Guys are in charge when Miss Jill and Mister John are away. Papa Bugg, on the left, can be a little surly and supposedly smokes but he keeps the rabbits in line. Lion, in the back, sleeps at the top of the bed and growls when angry. Clifford, of course, is the self-proclaimed "Bunny Stopper" and he barks at Ruby Jane any time she's inside. TV Turtle, in the forefront, has control of the remote control. He also has a keen sense of smell and knows if someone has had a fish dinner.
