My bunny on the remote control

OK, this makes me wonder. What DO rabbits want to watch on the television? I wouldn't think Animal Planet since most of those show are on predators. And the Food Network doesn't hit the spot because they don't eat much of that stuff. Personally, I think bunnies dig the Golf Channel. They can sit there and look at all that inviting grass. Hmm... chomp chomp.

Maybe I should stop wondering and get to bed.

But that's what this blog is all about. No, not getting to bed. It's all about the wonderment.

Am I a recluse?

Am I a recluse or just simply exhausted?
Have you ever dreamt about living in a cloistered convent?

I say that joking but some days the quiet, simplicity sounds appealing.

It's Friday night. I have no intention of leaving my humble home. I am happy sitting and reading, sitting and sleeping, sitting and watching tv, sitting and well, sitting and waiting for bedtime.

Friday nights.

John is watching some sort of sci-fi TV show. I have no interest. I don't know if I really hate sci-fi or if I just like that I hate sci-fi. I guess it doesn't really matter. It keeps him occupied as I sit and do nothing on Friday night.

Friday nights.

It was only a few years ago that Friday night meant getting all purdy and going out to meet singles. Now the thought of going out into the chilly night is repulsive.

I am back to being a recluse. Leave me in my house. I don't want to get ready to go any where. I'll sit on the couch while John watches sci-fi.

I think I like my new life.

Update on Wedding Pictures!

It's amazing what a little on-line questing in public forums will do when it comes to motivating a wedding photographer! Shortly after I posed some questions on The Knot about my photographer, she emailed me w/pics. Coincidental??? Hmmmm

Well, here's a few....we are still sorting them out. Some I love, some I hate....but I am just happy to have them!

Wedding nightmares?

I am back to having wedding nightmares....you know, the ones that wake you up and leave you panicked that you trip and fall into the cake?! Considering I am happily married and loving life, the only real cause of these nightmares must be my tardy photographer.

It's been five months and we still don't have pictures. And now, our photographer has quit communicating with me. For months, I've been playing "nice, sweet, accommodating Jill" but just recently I changed my tune. I called and/or emailed her on 3/26, 4/2, and 4/9 expressing my concern and disappointment. No word back. I do know she's alive and well enough to continue working as photographer- but she's not able to call me back?! Strange.

Generous friends have offered advice regarding my missing wedding pics. But the bottom line is that it's not about the money.....it's about have treasured photos from our wedding day.

Who would have thought that I could still have wedding nightmares. What's next--- nightmares about final exams?? I sure hope not!

Surviving the ATL; and Annoying Gator Fans

I guess the only thing better than a bunny on the head would be a Bruin at the Final Four. In any event, that was quite the fun fan sojourn. Alas, it didn't go so well for my Bruins but hey, we made it there and that's something that Duke/Kansas/Kentucky/Yale fan can't say.

On a related note, are there are sluttier fans than female Gator fans? And the guys are intolerably arrogant. They really need to be introduced to the Total Perspective Vortex and realize where they really are in the universe. Then again they may be so oblivious to life around them that they go Zaphod Beeblebrox and survive. OK, I can't even recall which exact book that scene is in... how did I get here? Oh yeah, annoying Gator fan.

What's up with our washing machine? That is all.
